How to measure and install vertical blinds

THE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MEASURING AND INSTALLATION OF VERTICAL BLINDS

How to measure rightly.

If you want to install blinds yourself, you should measure the sizes. It is desirable to make it correctly to not be mistaken at the order.

1. For manufacturing the overall DIMENSIONS of a product together with the ledge are necessary. They are shown below in figures: L - width, H - height, G - length of elements of management.

2. Think over, where will be drawn vanes to at opening of blinds, where there will be elements of management.

3. Determine a way of installation. There are a lot of them, but all of them are versions of the two basic:


" Overlapping on a wall " - in this case we advise to add to the sizes of a window opening - 10cm to height and 15-20 cm to each side for drawn vanes not to cover light.		" In a window opening " - in this case it is necessary to subtract 1-2 cm from width of a window opening, and 1 cm from height. It is necessary to mean, that the aperture has incline to window side and so width is variable. You should think about how windows frames open, whether the ledge of blinds can prevent them. The height of the ledge is 6cm.

4. Write down all data approximately this way:

5. For installation you’ll need a 6 mm drill and appropriate screws with dowels.

The ledge fastens to a ceiling by special ceiling clips.	To fasten to a wall the special brackets are added to clips.
